There are a wide range of volunteering opportunities within CHAP. Your interests may lie in learning administration and I.T. skills. You will be tutored in the basic skills such as answering the telephone, filing, faxing, photocopying, designing publicity materials,etc. You will be taught Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and if your interests lie in Website Design then we can provide training in that area too. You will be based in our main office.

You can become a volunteer for our Education department. Dealing with evaluations and buddying with the Facilitators are only two aspects of volunteering with them.

You can become a volunteer in our Advocacy department and learn about housing law and legislation, sitting in on client interviews, etc...

There are also volunteering opportunities available buddying up and admin support with our Rent Deposit team.

We are also looking for volunteers to help organise, plan and run with fundraising activities.

All volunteers, except in admin, will be required to provide us with an up to date enhanced disclosure which will be paid for by the organisation.
