CHAP's Milestones

•         Born 1997.

•         Constitution was adopted on 14 July 1998. 

•         Charitable status was received on 24 July 1998. 

•         Registration for the Data Protection Act 1998 was accepted on 30 August 2000. 

•         In 2002 CHAP became a Company Limited by Guarantee.

•         Obtained Investors In People Accreditation in December 2001 and successfully reviewed in 2003.

•         CHAP is currently registered with the North Ayrshire Council Accredited Providers list to deliver Housing Advocacy and Housing Support Services in North Ayrshire. As a legal requirement, CHAP is also registered with the Care Commission to deliver the Housing Support Service.

CHAP's Funding

J     1997 - two years funding from Ayrshire and Arran Health Board

J     1999 - eighteen months funding from the North Ayrshire Social Inclusion Partnership. 

J     1999 - three years funding from the National Lottery Charities Board (now the Community Fund). 

J     2002 - Service Level Agreement from North Ayrshire Council to provide Advocacy Service.

J     2002 - three years development fund from the Community Fund. 

J     2003 - one year funding from the Ayrshire Key Fund.

J     2003 -  three years funding from the Moffat Trust.

J     2003 - three years funding from the Unemployed Voluntary Action Fund.  

J     2003 - Supporting People contract from North Ayrshire Council.  

J     2004 - One year funding from the Robertson Trust..  

J     2004 - Service Level Agreement from North Ayrshire Council to provide an Education Service. .  

J     2005 - Rent Deposit (DIGS) contract procured from East Ayrshire Council.
