Training programmes offered by CHAP

The new training programmes have been developed by CHAP's Education Co-ordinator and are facilitated by trained members of staff and volunteers.

Training for Youth Groups - Designed specifically for young people to enable them to develop the relevant knowledge and skills to access and sustain a mainstream tenancy.

Training for other Organisations - Training packages including Team Building, Basic Advocacy Skills and an Introduction to Housing Advocacy. Contact us for further information.

Training and Support for Individuals -  This training and support will be aimed at individual members of the public in order to allow them to obtain and develop the relevant knowledge and skills to access and sustain a mainstream tenancy.

Support for individuals - CHAP is currently developing a service which will provide ongoing support (from volunteers) for those clients in East Ayrshire, involved in the DiGS programme, who may require one to one assistance to manage their tenancy.
