About the CHAP Board of Trustees

A Board and Trustees’ main role lies in oversight and governance; to ensure all the responsibilities of a charity and advice-giver are met to the highest possible standard. 

Not all Boards are the same however. At CHAP, we also believe in getting stuck in where appropriate; whether that’s bringing additional professional skills and experience to the table or lacing up our boots to take part in a sponsored walk. 

We choose to work as a team; both by challenging each other where necessary and supporting each other, including staff and the Executive Team in any way we can. 

The CHAP Board currently consists of 7 individuals, some with over twenty years’ valuable experience on this Board, and some who joined more recently, bringing welcome new ideas and competencies.
